Sleep beneath the Arctic sky

A glass igloo changes the whole experience of the Arctic. You do not simply go outside hoping to catch the Northern Lights and then return to an ordinary hotel room. You can stay warm, comfortable and close to nature while the sky unfolds above you. The Aurora can appear while you are lying in bed, drinking your coffee or simply watching the night through the glass.

And when the lights appear, you have time. Time to watch them. Time to take photographs. Time to make the kind of memories you do not get by rushing back to a hotel after an activity.

Reindeer are part of your stay

Our reindeer are here on the property throughout your stay. There is no scheduled ten-minute encounter and no need to hurry somewhere to see them. They are simply part of the place. Wake up and see them. Watch them in the snow. Photograph them when the light is right. Let the atmosphere around you become part of the memory.

Three igloos. That's it.

We have deliberately kept SKOG small. With only three igloos, there is no feeling of being part of a large resort or a crowd of tourists. You get space, quiet and a much more personal connection with the place.

We are locals. We know these forests, the weather, the roads, the seasons and the realities of living this far north. We are proud of where we live, and we genuinely enjoy sharing it with the people who come to discover it.

Authenticity before excess

We are not interested in turning Lapland into a luxury showroom. We believe you should pay for a genuine experience, not simply for a large resort, a long list of unnecessary extras or a name. Our focus is on the place, the people, the experience and the care that goes into your stay.

Someone is here when you need us

Because we live here, we are on-site around the clock. Need help arranging a taxi? Need something from the shop? Something unexpected happened? Just ask. We do not want you to spend your holiday solving practical problems. Tell us what you need and, whenever we can, we will take care of it.

You arrive as our guest. You leave knowing the people who looked after you.

Your adventure stays private

Our activities are private. It is your family or your group, together with your own local guide. No large groups, no strangers joining halfway through the experience and no feeling of being processed through an itinerary.

And your guide is local. Someone who knows this part of the world first-hand and can share it with you from genuine experience. The landscape is not simply a backdrop to the activity — it is their home.

Living in the Arctic comes with its own challenges. Weather changes. Roads become difficult. Plans sometimes need to change. There is a lot behind making a northern adventure run smoothly.
